Your wedding doesn’t end with the first dance!

Here are 25 of my favourite wedding party photos. Well, 28 actually, I got a bit carried away. Every single one of these photos was taken long after the first dance proving that some of the best moments of the wedding day happen later in the evening long after most wedding photographers are tucked up in bed.

25 wedding party photos taken after the first dance

I love photographing weddings that are basically one big party and the evening reception is one of my favourite parts of the wedding day. The formalities are well and truly over, the booze has kicked in and your guests are ready for a dance and a huge blow out!

Thankfully, I tend to attract couples who love a crazy party to round off their wedding day leaving me with the fun job of capturing it all. I throw myself onto the dance floor with your guests to capture those moments when people are really letting their hair and their guard down. Sure, these may not always be the most flattering photos from the day, but they’re so much fun and capture the real atmosphere of your wedding reception.

Sit back and enjoy some of my personal favourite images from various wedding receptions I’ve had the pleasure of documenting.
