Award Winning Wedding Photographer
Following on from June’s announcement where I collected my first Masters of Wedding Photography award, I was proper chuffed to hear that I’ve since picked up a further 2 awards for images I’ve captured at weddings in July and September of this year.
Three Masters awards in 2017
The awards are chosen by an ever changing group of international curators from the wedding photography industry and are designed to showcase exceptional and innovative wedding images. So it’s fair to say that I’m bloody delighted to have picked up these accolades.
The first image was taken during the wedding of Mel and Barry at Billesley Manor Hotel in Warwickshire and captured the exact moment the registrar asked if anyone in the room knew of any lawful reason why they should not be married. I just adore the differing reactions of Mel, Barry, Mel’s grandad and Barry’s best man.
The black and white image was taken at perhaps my favourite wedding venue, the Wellbeing Farm in Lancashire. I took Laura and Sarah for a wander around the farm to capture some photos of just the two of them, I loved the simple but rustic backdrop at the side of the recently converted barn. The kiss was completely undirected as I watched on from afar with a long lens.

Thank you
Thank you so much to all six beautiful humans who are featured in these images. I owe you all a beer. In the meantime, in true rock star style, I’m off out to celebrate with a game of snooker and several cups of tea with my mate Jim!
Peace is free
