Google+ Documentary Wedding Photography Image of the Year – 2015 Winners
It’s always an honour to have your work championed by your peers, so I was absolutely delighted to hear that three of my documentary wedding photography images taken during 2014 and 2015 were included in a recent collection curated by observational wedding photographers from around the world.
To have my work considered worthy enough to rank alongside some of these inspirational photographers is deeply humbling.
You can see all the winning images in a larger format on the official announcement here (mine are week 3, week 6 and week 9), there is also a little text with the story behind each image below every photograph. Additionally, Jason Noblett of TogWire has also produced a video montage of all the chosen photographs which you can see below:
I’m sure you’ll agree, there is some seriously enchanting work on display in the collection and I’m very proud to be a part of it. I must congratulate the other photographers whose work has been included, and of course, extra special thanks must go to those who nominated my images.
If you’d like your wedding photographed in a predominantly documentary style then please get in touch, we can meet up for a chat about your day in more detail and I can show you more of my portfolio. Although my work is mainly of a journalistic and storytelling nature, I do set aside a small part of your day to get some of the more formal group shots (to keep the families happy!) and also some time to capture images of just the two of you in and around your venue.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my little place on the internet.
Peace is free
Steve x
