A Snowy Winter Wedding at Stanley House Hotel & Spa

Stanley House in Clitheroe was the setting for this gorgeous winter wedding. I love snow, but despite photographing almost 150 weddings, I’d yet to shoot one with a decent amount of the white stuff.

Winter wedding perfection in Clitheroe

Sandra and Dan’s wedding was picture perfect. I arrived at Stanley House Hotel & Spa to precisely the type of snowy scene you would wish for when first making the decision to get married in December around Christmas time. Thankfully, the snow wasn’t so heavy that it affected the guests making their way to the venue, so everything went ahead as planned with all family and friends there to witness a brilliant occasion.

Sit back and enjoy some of the highlights from a wonderful day.

Thank you!

Firstly, my heartfelt thanks to Sandra and Dan for being such great sports and wading out in the snow for some photos – I’m sure you’ll agree that it was well worth it! It was an absolute pleasure to photograph your day and mingle with your lovely friends & family. Thank you.

Big thanks to my good friend Paul (aka The Beard) of Ginger Beard Weddings for second shooting for me on the day. Also, much love to Jodie at Jodie A Smith make up & hair, it was a pleasure working alongside you as always.

2018 and 2019

I say it all the time, but I can’t believe I’m typing the years 2018 and 2019 – in my head it’s still 1997!

Anyway, 2018 is almost fully booked and the 2019 bookings are coming in thick and fast, so get your skates on and get in touch if you’re looking for a wedding photographer with an emphasis on capturing the fun and emotion of your day.

Peace is free
