A Quirky Wellbeing Farm Wedding
I like quirky. No, I’ll rephrase that…I love quirky! Christie and Kurt’s Wellbeing Farm wedding really was a sight to behold. I honestly can’t recall a venue decorated so beautifully plus when was the last time you attended a wedding where you could mingle with llamas, donkeys and ducks?
Llamas wearing bow-ties, lime green sheep, donkeys and ducks!
The Wellbeing Farm is an award winning venue for hospitality and weddings located within Lancashire’s beautiful countryside. The farm prides itself on being a wedding venue with a difference and it’s certainly like no place I’ve photographed before. After the ceremony where the guests sat on old wooden chairs and hay bales, the wedding party were treated to a tour of the grounds and were invited to pet the animals.
It was also Christie’s Dad’s birthday so after the speeches the newlyweds surprised him with a giant red tomato birthday cake in honour of his love of gardening. Christie and Kurt also had another surprise in store for their guests, they had hired an Elvis tribute act who took to the make-shift stage early in the evening to get the party started.
There was so much going on, the day was a real assault on the senses and an absolute pleasure to photograph. Sit back and enjoy some of the highlights of a truly magnificent day.
As well as this being my first Wellbeing Farm wedding, I also got to work alongside a couple of people who I’d not worked with before. So a big shout out to the brilliantly talented and lovely Jodie Smith of Jodie Make-up and a big high five to Andy Jones who performed magnificently as Elvis Presley.
Thank you so much to Christie and Kurt for having me along for the ride and for looking after me and Lauren on the day. You and your family & friends were awesome!
Peace is free

Hi Tracy, thank you for your kind comments. If you contact Christie and Kurt they’ll be able to let you have copies of the high resolution images so that you can get prints done. 🙂
