Victoria Warehouse Weddings

This is definitely the type of venue that you’ll either love or hate. Victoria Warehouse weddings certainly aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s something that the venue is more than happy to use as a selling point.

As a Manchester born and bred wedding photographer who works worldwide, I’ve been privileged enough to have worked at some of the most wonderful venues. But Manchester is home, I know the place like the back of my hand and it’s always extra special to be photographing a wedding in my home city.

About Victoria Warehouse

The warehouse is a very industrial and gritty building, with none of the traditionally aesthetically ‘pretty’ spaces that many people associate with wedding venues, but I absolutely love it because it tends to attract the types of couples that I want to photograph – the laid back, party animals who don’t want their day to be a pose-fest.

Located in the Old Trafford area, Victoria Warehouse showcases the city’s rich industrial past while serving as a versatile space for modern events. Originally built in 1893 as a storage facility for cotton and textiles, the warehouse has been meticulously restored to maintain its unique character, featuring rustic brick walls and large open spaces.

Today, Victoria Warehouse is renowned for hosting a variety of events, from concerts, festivals and fashion shows to corporate functions and weddings. Its impressive size and flexible layout make it an ideal choice for both intimate gatherings and large-scale events. The venue also boasts a vibrant atmosphere, often complemented by art installations and creative decor.

The venue is perfect for those looking for an industrial-chic vibe. With high ceilings and many open spaces, the warehouse is essentially a blank canvas that can be tailored to your tastes.

Get in touch

If you like what you see and wish to enquire about your wedding photography, please get in touch to tell me all about your plans.

You can also find me on Instagram to see more of my work – @stevegroganphotography

I’m also a massive dog lover so if you’re planning on including your dog in your wedding plans, please do check out my dogs at weddings blog post.

Since I started my business back in 2014, my philosophy has always been for couples to look back on their wedding photographs and remember how they felt at the time, not what the photographer was telling them to do.

With that in mind, I recommend around fifteen minutes on the day for some photos of just the two of you, plus I’ll always take some formal group photos if desired. But other than that, I won’t take you away for hours so that you miss all the fun.

Lots of love
