Tower Hill Barns Wedding in Wrexham
Despite the heavy rain meaning the ceremony had to be conducted inside, Mary and John’s Tower Hill Barns wedding was epic. This was my first time photographing at this new barn wedding venue situated in Wrexham, North Wales. I loved the mix of old and modern, with the 200-year-old beautifully converted cattle barn now being used for wedding ceremonies. It’s definitely on my list of favourite wedding venues.
Mary and John’s original plans were to say their vows outside under the magnificent old sandstone railway bridge adjacent to the barn. Unfortunately, the rain was too heavy so a last-minute decision was made to head inside.
Soon after the ceremony, the rain had eased a little so I did manage to get some photos of the newlyweds outside under the railway bridge which was still decorated for the intended outdoor ceremony.
Grab yourself a brew and enjoy some of the highlights of a wonderful day.

Thank you
Thank you so much to Mary, John and their family & friends who made me feel so welcome throughout the day. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph such a brilliant occasion. I also want to thank the staff at Tower Hill Barns who really looked after me, making sure I had plenty of food and orange juice to keep me going. I hope to photograph here again very soon.
2017 almost full
I’m almost fully booked for 2017 and I’ll be taking on just 2 more weddings before shutting up shop for this year.
2018 is around 30% booked, with peak-season dates going rather quickly. Get in touch pronto if you’re on the lookout for a documentary style wedding photographer. 🙂
Thanks to everyone who has encouraged and supported me, it means a lot.
Peace is free
