Destination wedding photography is something I’ve always wanted to do ever since I took my first steps as a wedding photographer. I’ve previously photographed weddings in Wales and Scotland but this was the first time I’ve been commissioned to fly overseas to photograph someone’s big day.
Destination Wedding Photography in the beautiful town of Mijas, near Malaga in southern Spain.
The quaint town of Mijas, situated in the south of Spain just a few miles from Malaga and Marbella was the location for Nicola and Mark’s villa wedding.
When Mark first sent me an email with the details of the wedding venue I was blown away. The wonderfully named Hacienda San Jose had been hand picked for it’s rustic charm and stunning location deep in the picturesque Andalucian hills. I couldn’t wait to fly over to Spain and document the day.
