A National Trust Wedding
Clair and Paul’s Quarry Bank Mill wedding was held within the grounds of this beautiful and historic National Trust site in Styal, Cheshire. The imposing old cotton mill was completed in 1784 and is perfect for those couples looking for a wedding venue that is little on the quirky side.
Quarry Bank Mill wedding in Styal, Cheshire
The old mill where the ceremony took place is set within several acres of stunning gardens and wooded areas. Shortly after the wedding, I accompanied the newlyweds on a stroll around the grounds for a few photos of just the two of them.
If you’ve never visited Quarry Bank before then I would highly recommend a day out with the family. There’s loads to do for people of all ages including a cafe and some shops selling local produce. My kids are going on a school trip there this week to learn all about the history of this fascinating location. With their love of history, I’m sure they’ll love it just as much as I did.
Thank you!
Thank you so much to Clair and Paul for having me photograph your amazing wedding. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of such a wonderful occasion. I had a cracking day.
2017 is almost fully booked
I’m only taking on another 2 weddings for this year, after that I’ll have to hang up the ‘fully booked’ sign. 2018 is also filling up nicely and over the last couple of weeks the 2019 enquiries have started to roll in. If you’re getting married and are looking for a wedding photographer to capture your day in a natural and unobtrusive style, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
Peace is free
