A Monton Church ceremony followed by an epic Nunsmere Hall Wedding Reception
Amy and Tom were married at Monton Unitarian Church in Eccles before heading over to Cheshire for their amazing Nunsmere Hall wedding reception. I’ve photographed at Nunsmere Hall several times and have always enjoyed the stunning country house hotel situated just outside Chester, within the beautiful Delamere Forest.
A huge party in the Nunsmere Hall marquee
After the formalities of the wedding ceremony were over, everyone headed over to Cheshire for the part of the day many people look forward to the most – the wedding reception. And what a party it was!
It’s no secret that I particularly enjoy photographing weddings that have a bit of a “wild side” to them, and on this occasion I was in my element as the newlyweds partied hard all day long with their family and friends. I bet some of the guests still haven’t recovered from their hangovers!
Sit back and enjoy some of the highlights from a truly fantastic Nunsmere Hall wedding reception.
It was a pleasure to have my second favourite Frenchman, Thomas Demol assisting me on the day. Thomas won Come Dine With Me a couple of years ago and one of the guests actually recognised him. He now thinks he’s a proper celebrity and everything!
A big high five to Agnes Harris of Agnes Wedding Films, it was wonderful to work alongside such a talented film-maker.
Finally, my heartfelt thanks to Amy & Tom who have since left me the following review:
“We’ve just received our wedding photos and we are absolutely blown away. We knew they would be good as we had seen Steve’s work, but they were AMAZING! Steve managed to capture the day perfectly, from preparations in the morning to everyone having fun on the dance floor. We knew we didn’t want ‘boring’ wedding photographs, we wanted to look back and remember the day exactly how it was and see everyone having fun enjoying the day. I would recommend Steve to everyone. He was so great to have at the wedding and all the guests commented on his laid back approach and how he just got involved with everything and everyone, but also put us and our guests at ease whilst taking photos. I really do think your wedding photographer is one of the main aspects of your day that you need to get right – you only get one chance to get the best pictures. We couldn’t have chosen anyone better! Thanks Steve xx”
2019 and 2020
I’m almost 70% booked for next year with 2020 enquiries starting to roll in too. As of 2019 I’m only committing to 30 weddings per year so please get in touch turbo quick if you’re getting married and you enjoy my work.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support and encourage me. It means a lot.
Peace is free
