This isn’t just any wedding, it’s an M&S wedding!
Mo & Steph are a terrific couple, they are both Doctors and if I recall correctly from the after dinner speeches, they met at medical school whilst studying the anatomy of the human eye. Their wedding day was magical, and as they had booked me for the entire day until midnight, I got to tell the complete story of their day.
I love the Hilltop Country House, it’s undoubtedly one of my favourite wedding venues. It’s located within fifteen acres of private land, has four reception rooms, numerous gardens and is also completely surrounded by farm land. There is also a huge marquee attached to the 17th century house which is used for wedding ceremonies and receptions, the diffused light inside is perfect from a photographer’s perspective.
Martin & Clare who own the venue are lovely, Martin in particular is rather an eccentric chap and on this particular day he wore purple trousers and a tie in the shape of a fish. The world needs more people like Martin; the saying “Be yourself, everybody else is taken” is one that I’m always reminded of when I see him.
So, sit back and enjoy some of my photos from a truly brilliant wedding.
I also had the pleasure of working alongside the outrageously talented videographer Jo Gendle, who is the owner and founder of Jo Gendle Films. I’ve worked alongside Jo on a few occasions and you may recall my previous blog post about her from earlier this year. She’s a remarkable lady, personable and quirky with an infectious sense of humour. She’s also fantastic at what she does; if you’re considering a videographer to film your wedding she definitely comes highly recommended. Below you can see a preview film from the day:

My heartfelt thanks go to Mo & Steph for booking me to shoot your wedding; it was an honour and a pleasure to work for you. Also, I must thank your family and friends who were so kind and welcoming to me throughout the day and made sure I was fed and watered. You guys know how to party that’s for sure!
I’m almost fully booked for 2016, while 2017 is also filling up nicely; please do get in touch if you’re getting married and are interested in commissioning a documentary style wedding photographer to capture your day with honest imagery.
Thanks for stopping by, I genuinely appreciate your continued support.
Peace is free
