A city centre wedding at the King Street Townhouse in Manchester
Sarah and Chris were married at the King Street Townhouse. Situated right in the heart of Manchester city centre, this wonderfully elegant and historic venue is fairly new to the scene having only opened it’s doors to weddings in the last twelve months.
An explosion of colour at one of Manchester’s most elegant wedding venues
Sarah opted for a colourful vibe for the day and chose the lovely ladies Ali and Bec of Diddibox Flowers for the bouquets and wedding flowers. I just loved the vivid colours, they were the perfect backdrop to accompany the smiles and laughter throughout the entire day as well as a fitting nod to the groom’s Nigerian & Ghanaian roots.
About a month before the wedding Sarah informed me that her dad had been poorly, suffering a stroke at his home in London. Despite this, he managed to walk Sarah down the aisle without his wheelchair which was truly delightful to witness. I’ve since heard that his rehabilitation is coming along nicely and he no longer requires a wheelchair. 🙂
Thank you!
A big shout out to Ali & Bec of Diddibox flowers and also Sarah from Pink Cocoa who made the stunning wedding cake. I can confirm that it tasted as good as it looked! It was also great to work alongside the awesome and incredibly Sam Gateley of Bridal Hair by Sam Gateley & Co.
Thank you to Sarah and Chris for having me along for the ride, it was an absolute pleasure to photograph their day. The newlyweds are both NHS doctors and I must say how honoured I was to share the same room with their guests, many of whom were doctors, midwifes, nurses, surgeons and consultants. I am in awe of those who dedicate their lives to keep us healthy.
Peace is free
