Party Time in an Old Textiles Mill!

Amanda and Mike’s Holmes Mill wedding was simply amazing. Situated in the heart of Clitheroe, this former textiles mill features a beer hall, hotel and food hall. This was my first Holmes Mill wedding as it has only recently started hosting weddings, but I’ve already taken a booking for another wedding here next year and I’m super excited as this place is easily one of my favourite wedding venues.

A Holmes Mill Wedding in Clitheroe

When I first met with Amanda and Mike last year I was delighted to hear that they’d got in touch with me having been recommended to do so by their friends Heather and Rick, whose wedding I’d photographed back in 2016. It’s always humbling to hear that I’ve been recommended by my previous couples, so a huge thank you to Heather & Rick for passing on my details.

I was so excited to photograph at Holmes Mill. It only opened it’s doors to weddings less than a year ago and from what I’d seen on the internet, it looked absolutely stunning – full of rustic charm and perfectly suited to the type of laid back couples I usually attract.

The day was a blast from start to finish and I can’t wait to photograph here again. Sit back and enjoy some of the highlights of a truly wonderful day.

Thank you!

Heartfelt thanks to Amanda and Mike for having me along for the ride. It was an absolute pleasure to document your day, your family & friends made me feel so welcome and were great sports all day long. I bet there were some serious hangovers the next day!

First of all, a big high five to the staff at Holmes Mill for looking after everyone so well, myself included. Thank you.

Hugs and kisses to the wonderful Melissa Maloo who traveled all the way up from Nottingham to assist me on the day.
