A Grange Hotel wedding in the idyllic little coastal town of Grange-over-Sands
Michelle and Chris’s Grange Hotel wedding in Cumbria was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my year so far. A stunning venue in a beautiful part of the world with some of the most fun-loving wedding guests I’ve encountered. The whole day was an absolute pleasure to photograph!
Hottest day of the year in the Lake District
It rains for approximately 200 days of the year in this part of the world, so it’s safe to say that despite it being June, I was still a little unsure as to what to expect weather-wise. Turns out it was only the hottest day of the year so far and Chris & Michelle were able to enjoy their wedding day with their guests in blistering sunshine.
Michelle and Chris are what you could call childhood sweethearts having first met when they were at school a few years ago. By their own admission, they are quite a private couple who aren’t overly keen on being the centre of attention but I have to say, they smashed it on the day and their shyness certainly didn’t come across once they had all of their family and friends around them.
Enjoy some of the highlights from a truly magnificent day. Oh yeah, and the ceremony room even had a disco ball. Woop!
Thank you so much to Michelle and Chris for having me along for the ride. You are such a fantastic couple and I really appreciate how you looked after me during the day, you and your guests made me feel so welcome and I left having made some new friends.
Thanks also to Lauren Jo Kelly for assisting me/second shooting on the day.
2018 almost full
I was looking at my diary for next year the other day and discovered that I’m almost 75% booked for 2018. I take on a set number of weddings each year so please get in touch soon if you’re looking for a documentary style photographer for your wedding.
Thank you for supporting me on this crazy adventure!
Peace is free
