A beautiful winter wedding at St Martins Church in Manchester.
If you’ve had a nosey around my website in more detail you’ll likely know that I offer 3 wedding packages. Every wedding is completely unique and usually one of my packages fits nicely with what my couples require so it’s quite easy for them to book one that fits in with their wedding day schedule. However, on occasion some people need a more bespoke quote and this is what happened with Chris & Heather who booked me for 3 hours of coverage for their wedding at the stunning St Martins Church in Manchester. Chris & Heather were looking for a relaxed, documentary style without the fuss of posing for lots and lots of group shots and they felt that 3 hours of my time was enough for them covering the wedding ceremony in addition to a couple of hours afterwards at their wedding breakfast before everyone sat down to eat.
It was a beautiful winter day but it was very cold, luckily the church was nice and warm so the weather didn’t cause any problems. I had a brilliant time, the service was one of the funniest I’ve witnessed for a long time; plenty of humour really added to the occasion. The wedding reception was a 1980s music theme and I particularly liked the old cassette tapes Heather used for the place names – very quirky! Here’s a few images to tell the story of Chris & Heather’s special day.
I want to thank Chris and Heather for allowing me to be part of their day; it was a pleasure to work for you. Thanks must also go to the Vicar (Shaun) and the Verger (Nigel) who were tremendously accommodating in allowing me access all over the church so that I could capture the ceremony from various viewpoints.
Many of the most popular dates are already booked for 2015 so get in touch ASAP if you’d like me to photograph your wedding! You can contact me here.
