100 of my favourite images from a spectacular two thousand and eighteen

Firstly, a very merry Christmas to you all and I send you my best wishes for 2019!

I know I say this each year, but I really am honoured to do what I do for a living. Essentially I get to spend my days photographing people having the time of their lives. I find it incredibly infectious to be surrounded by happy people and I honestly couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else.

So, as has become customary, here’s a round up of my year in 100 of my personal favourite wedding images.

Best Wedding Photography 2018

2018 has been incredible! I’ve been fortunate to have photographed up and down the UK as well as in Thailand, Spain and Italy.

One of the things I most enjoy about what I do is the interesting people I get to meet. This year I’ve photographed teachers, police officers, actresses, England International cricketers, surgeons, doctors, nurses, midwives, artists, engineers, farmers, musicians, IT boffins, solicitors, barristers, store managers, company directors, Instagram influencers, interior designers, the list goes on…

More Industry Awards

Recently I’ve been a winner in the 2018 Rangefinder Magazine annual wedding photography contest and I’ve also had one of my images shortlisted in the MyWed Award 2018. Whilst the happiness of my couples will forever remain my main focus, it’s always great to have my work recognised within the industry by my peers.

So, in no particular order here are my personal favourite photographs of the year. You can watch the funky slideshow or simply scroll down to see them all individually. Enjoy!

Thank you

Since I photographed my first wedding and quit my job back in June 2014 I’ve been fortunate enough to make many friends within the industry. A wonderful group of venue managers & coordinators, fellow photographers, videographers, wedding planners, DJs, celebrants, bands, musicians, florists, caterers, magicians and hair & make up artists are now amongst some of my warmest friends. So here’s to all of you and I look forward to supporting you in the years to come within our community.

A huge hug also goes to my regular second shooter, assistant & pet chimp Lauren Jo Kelly for being one of my closest friends.

Here’s to 2019!

The new year promises to be a cracker. I’m photographing weddings all over the place, from Manchester city centre just 20 minutes from my home to Sitges in Spain and Galway in Ireland.

2019 is already 90% booked. If you’re looking for a photographer for your big day then please get in touch sharpish to secure your date. I’m also taking bookings for 2020 and 2021.

I hope you’ve enjoyed some of my best wedding photography 2018. Thank you so much to every single one of my couples – I send you my warmest wishes for 2019 and beyond.

Peace is free
